Next week winter training Commences ๐Ÿฅถ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ’ช

They do nothing for you! And I regularly like to push my clients out of theirs too. ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿคฃ

So today all my experienced clients got pushed out of their comfort zone and they got suspended in air - ๐Ÿคฃ

The thing about comfort zones is that they are sooooo comfortable. If Iโ€™d shown my clients beforehand what we were doing today they would have talked themselves out of it - true ๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ. So in true Savage ๐Ÿ™‹โ€โ™€๏ธ style I just sprung it on them. ๐Ÿคฃ

Guess what? Not one of them failed at this today - Yep Not One! ๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ‘

Why Plyometric Work will burn Heaps of Fat ๐Ÿ”ฅ

I was introduced to plyometric work when I did athletics in my late teens and we jumped over full size hurdles! It was tough but not only did it increase power and strength we also burnt a lot of calories.

So why does it burn more calories than your usual training session ? Quite simply when you are working at this intensity you require alot of energy. The more energy you need the more calories you burn.๐Ÿ”ฅ๐Ÿ’ช

This type of session is not for beginners and I would suggest you get a coach to help you build up to this if youโ€™ve never done any kind of plyometric work before. Samia Khalaf Tossio loved this session but sheโ€™s fit and strong and was more than capable to do this - next time it gets harder ๐Ÿ˜œ๐Ÿ’ช

I bet you donโ€™t! When was the last time you gave yourself a pat on the back and said โ€œyou know what you are doing a really good jobโ€๐Ÿคทโ€โ™€๏ธ

Why do we never give ourselves enough credit๐Ÿคฆโ€โ™€๏ธ.

Even if you donโ€™t feel like you are achieving much, you can still look back over the last week or month and give yourself some credit for the little things youโ€™ve achieved. ๐Ÿ™Œ

So in Sermon Sunday today ๐Ÿคฃ, Iโ€™m personally giving myself a โ€œwell doneโ€ pat on the back for the progress I have made over the last week with my new board.

Iโ€™m not frightened to admit this board is way out of my comfort zone and itโ€™s taking every ounce of courage and strength to stand and stay up. Last Thursday the river was running on amber so it was fast and I knew I had a challenge ahead. Good news I was more confident and only had a few โ€œwhoaahโ€ moments and I got off feeling like โ€œYESโ€. So Iโ€™m super proud of myself and owning it loud and proud ๐Ÿ™Œ

So can you look back on something today that you are proud of and take time to recognise it. Be your biggest fan and high five yourself ๐Ÿ™Œ๐Ÿ’ช๐Ÿฅฐ. Go on - do it!
