💪How to Stay Fit when you reach Middle Age 💪

As I’m approaching the big 50 in November 😮, I keep being asked for my top tips for staying fit and healthy in the mid life years.

So here are my top 5 for you 👇🏻

1️⃣ You are what you eat! So Educate yourself on what you are eating
2️⃣ Keep moving! Yes as we get older we may not be able to do the same activities as when we were younger so find something else. I’ve recently taken up paddle boarding 🤷‍♀️
3️⃣ Keep challenging yourself by learning something new. Your brain needs exercising too.
4️⃣ Say Yes more than you say No
5️⃣ Laugh and don’t take life too seriously 🙌

Life is about getting out there and living it to the best of your ability. If you keep active and eat a balanced diet, you really can extend your life by years!

Don’t be afraid of lifting heavier weights. The benefits are huge. You won’t look like Arnie I promise you - not unless you want to and that takes a lot of training and diet.🤷‍♀️

As we age, it’s so important that we have not just a strong heart but also strong muscles and joints. 💪💪
